A Place to Belong is officially off to the editor for its final polish (eek!) and already in the hands of the lovely ladies on my Front Porch Preview Team (hey, gals! 🙋‍♀️). 

While Book One gets its finishing touches, I’ve been quietly settling into writing Book Two in my Christian fiction series… and I have to tell you—this one feels like coming home. 

There’s something deeply special about writing a series. I’ve always loved reading cozy Christian novels that follow the same community or group of characters across multiple books. Once I fall in love with a town, or the people in it, I never want to leave. Now, as the one crafting these stories? I totally get it.  

✨ Same Town, Familiar Faces… and New Growth

Book Two brings us back to the same small-town setting that readers fell in love with in A Place to Belong. You’ll see a few familiar faces, hear that same cozy, heartfelt tone, and feel all the warmth of porch-swing wisdom, tight-knit friendships, and grace-filled love stories. 

But here’s the beautiful part: this new story stands on its own. It’s growing in new, unexpected ways—introducing fresh characters and exploring different themes of faith, healing, and purpose. 

Writing this second book has reminded me just how much I adore faith-based small town romance, where the focus isn’t just on romantic love, but also on belonging, calling, and second chances.
